A's Colon, who was to face Rays, suspended 50 games for failed drug test
UPDATE, 3:12: The A's will recall RHP Tyson Ross from AAA to start against the Rays.
UPDATE, 1:32: MLB has now confirmed the suspension, which starts immediately. Colon tested positive for testosterone.
BREAKING: Oakland RHP Bartolo Colon, who was to start against the Rays on Thursday, has reportedly failed a drug test and faces a 50-game suspension.
The A's have yet to name a replacement starter.
Colom was 10-9, 3.43 for the A's, who have unexpectedly hung in the AL wild-card race.
