Cormier finds new home with Dodgers

RHP Lance Cormier made his departure from the Rays final on Wednesday when he signed a minor-league deal with the Dodgers.

Cormier worked 62 innings over 60 games for the Rays last season, then was made a free agent as the Rays declined to offer him a contract. He had been talking to the Rays among several teams, and then made a deal with the Dodgers. With his departure, the Rays have officially lost seven of the eight relievers who worked the most innings last season.
