Crawford leaves game ... with low back tightness
UPDATE, 8:37: Crawford left with what the team said was "low back tightness.''
He may have done something to it during an odd sequence in the first, when he was on first and running on the pitch, but didn't realize (or got deked) that the ball Evan Longoria hit went through the infield, and Crawford turned abruptly to head back to first, then turned again to go back to second.
DEVELOPING: Rays All-Star LF Carl Crawford left the game during the third inning, with Ben Zobrist moving from 2B to LF and Willy Aybar coming in at second when the Rays took the field for the bottom of the inning. No word yet on what's wrong with Crawford, but it has to be something.
