Damon leaves game, was hit twice by pitches, is getting X-rays
UPDATE, 2:27: Damon left the game with what the Rays are calling a contusion on his left hand and is getting X-rays.
DEVELOPING: Rays DH Johnny Damon left Wednesday's game after being hit twice by pitches by Twins LHP Francisco Liriano.
Damon was hit on the back in the first inning and appeared fine, but was hit on the left hand his second time and appeared to be bothered by it while he was on the bases.
Damon didn't come out for this third at-bat, replaced by Sam Fuld.
Liriano has hit three Rays total, also plunking Sean Rodriguez. Rays starter Wade Davis has not hit any Twins.
