Elliot Johnson activated from DL; Felipe Lopez designated for assignment

The Rays announced after Saturday's game that INF Elliot Johnson (left knee sprain) has been activated from the disabled list.

"I'm excited," he said.

To make room, the Rays designated INF Felipe Lopez for assignment. Lopez, in his second stint with the Rays this season, has been designated before, and has returned to Triple-A Durham, and Tampa Bay hopes he's able to do the same this time around.
