Game postponed; Sunday DH at noon and 5

UPDATE, 10:06: Wade Davis will start as scheduled Saturday, with Matt Garza working the first game on Sunday and James Shields, who was to start Friday, in the second game. The Red Sox will do the same thing, with Josh Beckett starting as scheduled on Saturday, Clay Buchholz in the first game Sunday and Friday starter Jon Lester, who threw 23 pitches, in the second game.

Also, the game starts over on Sunday, so the Rays don't really have the bases loaded.

UPDATE, 9:44: Tonight's game has been postponed will be made up at noon Sunday, and the regular-scheduled Sunday game will be moved back to 5 p.m.

UPDATE, 8:52: It's raining harder again, but that may be a good thing. One of their theories floating around is that after this latest front passes through, there will be enough clear skies to resume play for a while.

UPDATE, 8:29: Well, the rain has just about stopped and many of the fans have returned to their seats, but there is no action by the grounds crew to remove the tarp so there may be more rain expected.

DEVELOPING: Still not sure why they started the game with the skies looked so ominous, and after just 12 minutes of play, the game has been delayed. The Rays had the bases loaded with one out in the top of the first at the time.
