Gameday live: Rays at Twins

And it's official - Rays get 19th win.

Update, 4:01: Rays leading 10-3 in ninth.

Update, 2:48: Some technical issues here, but it's 8-2 Rays after six. Davis has gotten sharper, allowing only four hits. The Rays are flashing leather, too, as Rodriguez made a diving stop of a Cuddyer grounder to save two runs, and Longoria and Pena also made highlight worthy plays. The team spring record 19th win is in sight.

Update, 2:14: Rodriguez did get picked off third and tagged out in a rundown, so it's 8-2 going to bottom of fourth. Davis has allowed only one hit.

Update, 2:11: Rays knock out Baker with two outs in the third, having posted 12 hits. It's 8-2, and their team spring record 19th win appears in sight. Zobrist had another hit, a run-scoring single. And before that, Sean Rodriguez perfectly executed the safety squeeze bunt, scoring Kapler and reaching first.

Update, 2:03: Rays are knocking around Twins opening day starter Scott Baker, with 10 hits in the third inning and a 6-2 lead as Carlos Pena and Willy Aybar opened the third with singles, then came around when Gabe Kapler doubled and Nevin Ashley grounded out.

Update, 1:55: Davis is struggling a bit, allowing two walks in the second (to Jim Thome and Brian Dinkleman), then a two-run double to Steve Singleton (who was thrown out trying to stretch). So it's 4-2 Rays after two.

Update, 1:42: Zobrist delivers again, with a two-run double as Rays take a 4-0 lead. Davis allowed just a walk in his first inning.

1:21: First report from our man Joe Smith back in Port Charlotte - Rafael Soriano started in a Triple-A game against the Orioles, allowed one run on two hits and had one strikeout in his one inning. ... Dan Johnson hit another homer.

1:19: Carlos Pena walked, but no more runs as Willy Aybar and Gabe Kapler made outs, so Wade Davis has a 2-0 lead as he takes the mound.

'1:09: No. 3 hitter Ben Zobrist doubles in a run, and Evan Longoria follows with a sac fly - it's 2-0 Rays.

1:07: Rays get off to a quick start at Sean Rodriguez doubles, Reid Brignac singles.
