Gameday report: Rays at Phillies

UPDATE, 2:28: Nothing's done yet, but Rays are continuing talks with INF Hank Blalock on a minor-league deal.

UPDATE, 11:59: Manager Joe Maddon made clear what seemed obvious, that as of now he has no plans to use Pat Burrell in rightfield during the regular season on any kind of regular basis: "I'm not saying he can't get out there, we'll see how the season plays out, but for right now he's a DH. And we're going to have to figure out a way for him to deal with that."... While the batting order is still not set, Maddon said he plans to keep 1B Carlos Pena in the fourth spot but still hasn't decided whether to move Ben Zobrist into the No. 3 spot and drop Evan Longoria to No. 5, or to keep Longoria third and Zobrist fifth. ... On the injury front, OF prospect Desmond Jennings is here and likely to play at some point today, and if all goes well may get his first spring start on Monday; he has been out of action since being hit by a pitch in Wednesday's opener. Maddon didn't have much of an update on LHP R.J. Swindle, who strained his right oblique, except to say he won't be back on the mound anytime soon.

UPDATE, 10:04: The Phillies lineup looks like this:
Rollins, ss
Polanco, 3b
Utley, 2b
Howard, 1b
Ibanez, lf
Francisco, cf
Brown, rf
Gload, dh
Schneider, c
Happ, p

DEVELOPING: The Rays are set to leave Port Charlotte early this morning for Clearwater, and the team they put on the field will look a bit different than the full slate of starters they ran out on Saturday.

Among those not making the trip today are Jason Bartlett, Carl Crawford, Evan Longoria, B.J. Upton and Ben Zobrist. Those that are include Carlos Pena, Sean Rodriguez, Pat Burrell (who will be playing rightfield), Dioner Navarro, Kelly Shoppach and likely opening day starter James Shields.

Here is the lineup posted this morning in the clubhouse:
Kapler, cf
Rodriguez, 2b
Pena, 1b
Burrell, rf
Joyce, lf
Shoppach, dh
Navarro, c
E. Johnson, 3b
Brignac, ss
Shields, p
