Gameday report: Rays vs. Pirates

UPDATE, 11:57: The medical update from manager Joe Maddon was encouraging as he said, after watching Navarro and Aybar in the minor-league game, that both should be ready for opening day. He also said the "deadline" for Joyce to be ready for opening day is approaching rapidly, probably by Tuesday or so. ... The other news was that he said he is now planning on having B.J. Upton hit sxith in the order, which would drop Pat Burrell to 7th.

UPDATE, 10:46: Here is the Pirates lineup:

McCutchen, cf
Young, 2b
G. Jones, rf
Doumit, c
Crosby, ss
Clement, 1b
Moss, lf
Vazquez, 3b
Ohlendorf, p

UPDATE, 9:50: C Dioner Navarro (nerve bruise left shin) is feeling much better and will play in a minor-league intrasquad game today, and if all goes well return as expected for the big-league game on Tuesday. "I feel great,'' he said. ... OF Matt Joyce (right elbow strain) said he feels about the same, making slow progress. ... INF Willy Aybar was limited to DH in Saturday's minor-league game, but said he will play first today. .... Ex-Ray Akinori Iwamura is not on the Pirates travel roster for the game.

DEVELOPING: The Rays are getting ready, albeit on a relaxed schedule today, for the game against the Pirates, though with rain, potentially heavy, expected later this afternoon. Most interesting in the lineup today is that Hank Blalock is playing third for the first time.

Here is the lineup:
Bartlett ss
Crawford lf
Zobrist 2b
Pena 1b
Burrell dh
Blalock 3b
Kapler rf
Rodriguez cf
Colina c
Garza p
