Gomes added to bullpen
RHP Brandon Gomes was called up from Triple-A Durham to bolster the bullpen today.
Gomes takes the place of Cesar Ramos, who filled in admirably on Saturday and worked four scoreless innings after Alex Cobb left early.
This will be Gomes fourth stint with the Rays this season; he is 2-2, 6.94 in 10 games. At Durham, he is 4-2, 2.30 with six saves in nine opportunities.
