UPDATE, 9:33: Hallion will stay in the game and work third base, and Brian O'Nora become the third ump of the night to work the plate. Scott Barry moves to first base. The game was delayed 21 minutes.

UPDATE, 9:18: Now new home plate umpire Tom Hallion is down, hit in the chest by Scott Kazmir's pitch, which catcher Gregg Zaun apparently missed, and knocked Hallion to the ground. The pitch ended the inning as Travis Snider struck out.

Hallion is walking off under his own power, not sure yet what they are going to do.

DEVELOPING: Veteran umpire Jerry Crawford, who was working the plate, left the game after two innings, with some type of physical issue. Tom Hallion, who was working second, took over behind the plate and the game will be finished with a three-man crew.
