Isringhausen leaves game; doesn't look good
UPDATE: Manager Joe Maddon said Isringhausen felt something in his elbow when he threw the pitch and was being examined after the game. Maddon said the Rays are concerned but will wait for the results.
RHP Jason Isringhausen took himself out of Saturday's game with two outs in the ninth, appearing to favor his right arm after throwing a wild pitch far wide of catcher Michel Hernandez.
Isringhausen stepped off the mound, and immediately waved towards the dugout, with manager Joe Maddon and training staff coming to the mound. Isringhausen then left the game, and was replaced by Lance Cormier.
Isringhausen, 36, had rehabbed all spring from elbow surgery, which ended his season last year with the Cardinals. But it's too early to tell how serious it is at this point.
We'll keep you posted.
