Jason Bartlett activated from DL, will start Wednesday
Rays shortstop Jason Bartlett was activated from the disabled list after Tuesday night's game, and manager Joe Maddon said he will start Wednesday against the Braves.
Bartlett, on the DL with a right hamstring strain, was scheduled to DH for Triple-A Durham Tuesday night, but the game was rained out. The Bulls are off Wednesday, so it seemed likely Bartlett would rejoin the Rays soon.
To make room, OF Justin Ruggiano was optioned back to Durham.
