Joyce leaves game with quad tightness, cramping

OF Matt Joyce, the AL's top hitter, left today's game with tightness in his right quad and cramping in both legs.

He was receiving IV fluids after the game, but is expected to be able to play on Sunday.

Joyce was 0-for-3, dropping his average to .360, when he left after eight innings. He would have batted again in the ninth; instead Elliot Johnson struck out to end the game.
