Lance Cormier signed to minor-league deal
RHP Lance Cormier, released last week by the Dodgers, was signed to a minor-league deal and will join Triple-A Durham.
Cormier, 30, spent 2009-10 with the Rays. He made nine appearances for the Dodgers after making their roster out of spring training, going 0-1, 9.88.
Cormier made 113 appearances for the Rays, going 7-3, 3.55.
Also, the Rays released RHP Edgar Gonzalez from Triple-A Durham.
