Lights at Trop go out again; first pitch now 7:30
UPDATE, 7:44: Rays say the power outage wasn't the result of a lightning strike, but weather-related issues with a transmission line from substation to stadium.
UPDATE, 7:09: The lights have started to come back on, but the start of the game is expected to be delayed until approximately 7:30.
DEVELOPING: All the lights above the playing field at Tropicana Field went out at 6:55 tonight, and a delay in the start of the game seems lilkely.
A severe storm was again passing through the area, as was the case on Monday when about one-third of the lights went out.
The lights are being reset already, and the umpires, stadium staff and Tigers manager Jim Leyland were huddling behind home plate.
While Monday's game started on time, there was a delay earlier this season during a July 18 game with the Yankees.
