Longoria feeling better, plans to "push it"
Rays 3B Evan Longoria said his right hand felt good when he woke up today and after being checked by team hand specialist Dr. Doug Carlan he planned to "push it" a bit today and take swings in the batting cage.
He has been sidelined since being hit by a Matt Bush pitch in the March 1 intrasquad game, and admittedly getting "impatient" waiting for the swelling to subside.
