Longoria playing again for Durham, 50-50 on Tuesday return to Rays (updated 5:55)
UPDATE, 5:55: Maddon said it's probably 50-50 on Longoria returning to the Rays on Tuesday, and that it's mostly a question of how he feels at the plate.
BREAKING: Evan Longoria felt good enough this morning that he will play a fourth straight game as the DH for Triple-A Durham, then be re-evaluated Monday.
Manager Joe Maddon has said it was possible Longoria could return as soon as Tuesday.
In seven games total for Durham, Longoria is 3-for-22 with six walks. The issue at this point seems to be more about him getting his timing back and feeling comfortable at the plate.
Longoria has been out since partially tearing his left hamstring on April 30. The Rays are 41-43 without out.
