Longoria still 4th in All-Star voting
3B Evan Longoria is going to need a heck of a rally to get elected as the All-Star starter for a third straight time, continuing to rank a distant fourth in the latest voting update.
Longoria has 1,639,405 votes, well behind the leader, Yankees 3B Alex Rodriguez, who has 2,876,537. Texas' Adrian Beltre is second with 2,307,380 and Boston's Kevin Youkilis third at 2,025,438.
Rays 2B Ben Zobrist (828,771) and DH Johnny Damon (864,535) are distant fifths at their positions; OF Matt Joyce is 11th (1,038,098).
Online voting continues through June 30; the teams will be announced July 3.
