Longoria's latest pitch: Pepsi Refresh Project

Evan Longoria has another national TV spot coming out this week, and it's for a good cause - the Pepsi Refresh project, which makes monthly donations to "fund refreshing ideas that change the world."

Longoria appears in this commerical - filmed during spring training at the Trop - with Johnny Damon of the Tigers. There are other scenes, including Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia and pitching coach Dave Eiland, and some others.

From the release, here's a description of Longoria's spot, with images to come:

In this iteration, MLB players’ show their passion for the Pepsi Refresh Project as they come up with humorous non-traditional ideas while in the middle of a game.  Longoria pitches Damon an idea on “Senior Proms for Senior Citizens.” Damon responds, “I don’t know about that one…”

The spots will begin airing this Saturday locally and nationally during the FOX game of the week, and continue through the summer.

Longoria's project is tied to the Moffitt cancer center in Tampa.
