Maddon ejected in 8th inning
Rays manager Joe Maddon was ejected in the 8th inning after a prolonged argument with 2nd-base umpire Bob Davidson, after he called out Rich Thompson trying to steal second.
Thompson appeared on replays to have been on the base before Derek Jeter tagged him.
It was Maddon's 3rd ejection of this season and 26th as a Ray.
