Maddon ejected after warning issued
Rays manager Joe Maddon was ejected in the third inning of Sunday's game.
Maddon objected after home plate umpire Paul Emmel issued a warning to both benches following a pitch from Matt Moore that went behind the head of Yankees OF Curtis Granderson.
Maddon was ejected for objecting from the dugout, then came out on the field to share his feelings up close and personal with Emmel. Twice Maddon walked away and then went back to say more to Emmel.
It was Maddon's fourth ejection of the season and 27th as a Ray.
Moore's pitch to Granderson came two batters after Russel Martin hit a three-run homer.
