Maddon ejected in midst of perfect game
Rays manager Joe Maddon was ejected from Wednesday's game after arguing a strike call on Matt Joyce in the seventh inning.
Maddon was ejected by home plate umpire Rob Drake, then bounded out of the dugout to argue with him. Maddon was pretty worked up and eventually Drake walked away, so Maddon got into a bit with crew chief Joe West.
At the time, Seattle's Felix Hernandez had a perfect game, and he continued it by getting Joyce to ground out.
It was the second time this season Maddon has been ejected.
