Rays manager Joe Maddon will soon be moving into a new house in Tampa that has some interesting Tampa Bay coaching history – it was formerly owned by original Bucs coach John McKay.

Maddon plans to pay homage to McKay, not with a cigar or a floppy white hat, but with a framed presentation of one of his most famous quotes: Asked about the execution of his wayward team, McKay replied, “I’m in favor it.’’

Said Maddon: “I want to put that up somewhere in the house – prominently.’’
