The Rays announced their minor league award winners Monday, with LHP Matt Moore named Minor League Pitcher of the Year, and C/OF Stephen Vogt their Minor League Player of the Year.

The winners will be honored during an award's ceremony prior to tonight's game.

Moore, 22, who has already made an impact for the Rays since his September callup, went 12-3 with a 1.92 ERA in a combined 27 starts for Montgomery and Durham. He ranked second in the entire minor leagues in ERA, strikeouts and opponent's batting average.

"To be recognized for something like that, it's defintely an honor," Moore said. "There's been at least two guys in the last two years in this clubhouse that has received this award, so it's definitely pretty special to be recognized for that."

Vogt, 25, led the organization with 105 RBI in 128 games between Montgomery and Durham.

SS Hak-Ju Lee, a touted prospect acquired in the offseason RHP Matt Garza trade with the Cubs, was ranked the organization's best defensive player, while INF Tyler Bortnick was named the organization's best baserunner and RHP Chris Rearick the best relief pitcher.

The following players were named MVP for their respective minor league teams: UTL Russ Canzler (Durham), Vogt (Montgomery), Lee (Charlotte), INF Derek Dietrich (Bowling Green), INF Jeff Malm (Hudson Valley), OF Drew Vettleson (Princeton), RHP Roberto Gomez (Gulf Coast), INF Adderly Rosa (Dominican Summer League Rays), C Oscar Hernandez (Venezuelan Summer League Rays).
