Navarro scratched from lineup; Bartlett batting fifth

Update: C Dioner Navarro, in the original lineup for tonight's game, was scratched as he's still dealing with pinkeye, which first started bothering him after their last road trip.

Manager Joe Maddon said Navarro is feeling much better than yesterday, and would be comfortable pinch-hitting, or used in emergency, if something happened to Michel Hernandez. But otherwise, they'll give it another day.

C Dioner Navarro, who missed Monday's game due to pinkeye, is back in the starting lineup for the Rays, who have won four straight and host the A's tonight at Tropicana Field.

Red-hot SS Jason Bartlett has moved to the fifth spot, behind Carlos Pena. And Gabe Kapler gets the start in rightfield.
