Pending no further issues with his right hand that was struck by a line drive, RHP Jeff Niemann will make his return to the Rays on Saturday, starting at Toronto.

The Rays set their rotation for the four-game series in Toronto, with Matt Moore pitching Thursday, Jeremy Hellickson Friday, Niemann Saturday and David Price on Sunday.

Under that plan, RHP James Shields would open the key series with the Yankees on Sept. 3, followed by Alex Cobb and Matt Moore.
