As of now, ALCS game looks to be a chilly go .....

The field at Yankee Stadium is set up for batting practice and the forecast calls for cold - temps in the low 40s, wind chill in the 20s - but now much rain, or at least not until late tonight, so it appears the opening game of the ALCS will at least start as scheduled.

The forecast for Saturday is more threatening (90 percent chance of rain), and with the teams scheduled for a travel day Sunday (and FOX being locked into football telecasts all day Sunday) and a Monday day game in Anaheim, it seems MLB officials will try to do what they can to get tonight's game in, and then hope for better conditions on Saturday.
