Pennant fever? Rays attendance 11,968 Monday is third smallest crowd of season

It was expected that there would be a smaller crowd for tonight's game against the Jays as opposed to the weekend series against the Red Sox.

After all, it's a Monday night.

But tonight's announced attendance of 11,968 is the third smallest crowd of the season at Tropicana Field. The Rays drew
10,825 and 10,691 vs Oak April 27-28).

Those who came saw a pretty good game, as the first-place Rays lead the Jays 6-2 in the ninth.
