Perez injured; leaves game
Update 3:27 The Rays are still awaiting word on Perez, who is off-site undergoing tests (x-rays) to see the severity of his injury to his arm/wrist.
CF Fernando Perez has left Tuesday's game in the first inning after hurting himself trying to make a diving catch in shallow centerfield.
Perez, who appeared to injure his left wrist on the attempted grab of a Travis Snider liner, was attended to by assistant trainer Paul Harker, manager Joe Maddon and several teammates in the outfield before walking into the clubhouse.
Perez had appeared to make the catch, but the ball rolled out of his glove and RF Gabe Gross had to retrieve it and throw it.
Jon Weber has replaced Perez in center.
More details as they come.
