Price in Game 3, Hellickson Game 4

The Rays have named LHP David Price to pitch Game 3 on Monday and Jeremy Hellickson for Game 4 on Tuesday. Among other reasons, Rays manager Joe Maddon said the possibility of Price then being available to start the first game of the next round was a factor.

Though Price has not won since August, and struggled in the season-finale, Maddon said they are confident Price he will pitch well in the pivitol Game 3. "We wanted to go that way now,'' Maddon said. "I felt good about David in the third game with Helly coming behind him. David is a big part of our present and future and I have a lot of faith in him.''

LHP Matt Moore would be "a wild card" as they set things up going forward.

The Rangers will pitch RHP Colby Lewis in Game 3 and LHP Matt Harrison in Game 4.
