Price leads Rays to 6-0 win over Indians
The Rays bounced back in a big way from Wednesday's ugly loss, beating the Indians 6-0 on Thursday.
LHP David Price set the tone with a strong outing, taking a no-hitter into the fifth and allowing only two hits over seven innings for his major-league leading 13th win.
Price struck out seven and walked three in improving to 13-4 and lowering his ERA to 2.64. Wade Davis finished.
B.J. Upton had a bases-loaded double while Luke Scott homered and doubled to lead the Tampa Bay offense.
With the win, the Rays improved to 48-45 and split the series with the Indians.
Their season-long 10-game homestand continues on Friday against Seattle, with James Shields on the mound.
