Ramirez takes getting booed in stride; "It's all good"
Though manager Joe Maddon said it was "very unfair" for Rays fans to boo DH Manny Ramirez for his 1-for-16 start, the veteran slugger took it in stride.
Ramirez, who went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts Tuesday night, said he wasn't surprised.
"It's not my first time I strike out three times," Ramirez said. "It's all good. I liked it."
When asked if he understood where the fans were coming from, Ramirez said, "That's everywhere. It's all right. I'm not mad at myself. I just got myself out."
Ramirez said a product of his slow start is just "swinging at bad pitches," but will turn it around.
"How many games we play? There's plenty of time," Ramirez said.
