Rays and Red Sox get heated

The Rays 7-4 win Friday included an eventful top of the ninth, when Franklin Morales first threw behind and then hit Luke Scott, who made his unhappiness known. Jawing led to pushing and then shoving as the benches and bullpens emptied, though no major blows appeared to be landed. (The Rays had hit Dustin Pedroia earlier.)

Among the more heated Rays were infielder Sean Rodriguez, catcher Chris Gimenez and coaches Tom Foley and George Hendrick. After order was somewhat restores, B.J. Upton got involved when a fan near the Rays dugout appeared to throw something at him. Two of the most active Red Sox appeared to be coaches Bob McClure, who got involved with Pena and Ben Zobrist, and Tim Bogar.
