Rays beat A's 4-1, head home after 6-3 trip

BREAKING: The Rays made it three straight series wins and a 6-3 record on their cross-country road trip with a 4-1 win over the A's on Wednesday afternoon.
RHP Alex Cobb gave the Rays a strong start, allowing only four hits and the one run (on a homer by Brandon Inge) through seven innings.
Carlos Pena led the offense with a home run and a run-scoring double, taking over the team RBI lead (from injured Luke Scott) with 46. Jeff Keppinger, Ryan Roberts and Desmond Jennings also had two hits each.
Fernando Rodney finished for his 31st save.
With the win, the Rays improved to 55-50 as they head home for a six-game stand against Baltimore and Toronto starting Friday at the Trop.
It was only the fourth time in team history the Rays won three series on a road trip.
