Rays game suspended in 1-1 tie due to rain, will be resumed Saturday night
UPDATE, 11:24: The game has officially been suspended and will be resumed at 7:10 on Saturday, with the regularly scheduled game to follow about 30-45 minutes later.
DEVELOPING: The Rays and Red Sox couldn't beat the rain, as Friday's game was put into a delay at 10:21 p.m. with the score tied 1-1 and the Sox due to bat in the bottom of the ninth. The radar looks very bad, so it likely will be a suspended game and resume from this point prior to the start of Saturday's game - assuming there is a game Saturday given the chance for more rain then.
It would be the first suspended regular-season game in Rays history, though there was the small matter of Game 5 of the 2008 World Series.
