Rays keep Ruggiano, Anderson

OF Justin Ruggiano and 1B/OF Leslie Anderson both cleared waivers and will remain with the Rays organization.

They were outrighted to Triple-A and will be in spring training as non-roster players.

They were taken off the 40-man roster this week to make room for the additions of Johnny Damon and Manny Ramirez.

With Ruggiano and Anderson, the Rays have 60 players on their roster for the opening of camp next week. Look for an extensive preview package in Sunday's Times.
