Rays' Maddon is most popular manager

If payroll wasn't an issue, the Rays might have the finest collection of talent in baseball. That's because, according to a Sports Illustrated poll, just about everyone wants to play for Joe Maddon.

SI asked 291 major-league players which manager they would most like to play for, and Maddon topped the list. Boston's Terry Francona, Detroit's Jim Leyland, the Angels' Mike Scioscia and Cincinnati's Dusty Baker complete the top five.

Here are the results, presented in a photo gallery.
