Rays playoff bonus: $30,758.08

The Rays' bonus for making the playoffs ended up being $30,758.08.

That's the size of their playoff share, per MLB. The Rays voted 45 full shares, which usually go to the players who were with them most of the season, as well an 8.79 partial shares and 24 cash awards which go to other players and staff.

The first-round losers all got about the same amount; for advancing to the second round the Tigers got $126,901.50 a man, for getting to the World Series the Rangers got $251,515.76 each.  The World Series winning Cardinals got $323,169.98 a man.
