DEVELOPING: The Rays are looking to make it two straight and win the series in the last meeting of the season with the Red Sox tonight, and they'll have Matt Garza on the mound.

Garza is on an impressive roll, having gone 3-0, 0.99 in his last four starts.

The Rays are coming off a big night in which they won their team-record 41st road game and set season highs with 14 runs and five home runs. It was the 11th time in franchise history they hit five or more homers, and the 12 they hit over their last four games are their most in nearly two years, since also hitting 12 over four games in September 2008.

With a win tonight, the Rays will win their team record 14th road series of the season.

And looking ahead to next week's series with the Yankees at the Trop, it appears there will be a dazzling opening matchup between leading Cy Young award candidates David Price and CC Sabathia.
