Rays rookies dressed up and dancing

Ten Rays rookies and first-year players had to get dressed up — with pantyhose, wigs and these oh-so-tight one-piece suits — in a "Jane Fonda '80s look" and then did a choreographed dance on the Fenway Park turf to the pop hit Call Me, Maybe.

Here is some cell phone video, with David Price providing the commentary:

The group included Matt Moore, Stephen Vogt, Brandon Gomes, Chris Archer, Dane De La Rosa, Jose Lobaton, Rich Thompson, Alex Cobb, Desmond Jennings and Jake McGee. The whole experience was organized by James Shields, who decided to include the additional players with less than a full year in the majors at the start of the season.

He got the outfits from On Pointe Dancewear on Central Avenue in St. Pete, and got choreography help from Annie Meier.
