Rays set rotation for Sox series: Price, Shields, Niemann

The Rays have set their rotation for this weekend's series with the first-place Red Sox, and LHP David Price will start Friday night, apparently over the "turf toe" issue that kept him out of the All-Star game.

Price will be countered by Red Sox LH Andrew Miller in Friday's series opener. RHP James Shields will start Saturday, with RHP John Lackey going for Boston. On Sunday, it will be RHP Jeff Niemann starting, with the Red Sox throwing RHP Josh Beckett.
