Andy Sonnanstine (above) invited down some of his friends from the St. Petersburg Beach-based Sunrise Table Tennis League, where he played - without telling them who he was - this winter, and they staged an exhibition in the batting cages this morning.

"He's very good,'' member Phil Gehres said. "He didn't tell anybody he was a Ray, and he just fit right in. A number of Rays took part in S, including Sonnanstine David Price, Elliot Johnson, Wade Davis, Matt Joyce, Johnny Damon, manager Joe Maddon and a few others.
