Rays vs. D-backs, seeking series win
UPDATE, 12:41: Crawford said he didn't feel well enough to play today, but that he felt better and took some "dry" swings, which are done without a ball. He hasn't thrown yet, and may not until Monday or Tuesday. "When y'all see my name in that lineup that means I'll be ready to go, as of right now I'm still the same,'' Crawford said. "I was shooting for today and it wasn't right so we're shooting for Tuesday again.''
UPDATE, 12:39: Manager Joe Maddon said Crawford's status remains uncertain, that there has been progress with his sore left shoulder but they don't know for sure yet when he will return to the lineup. Maddon did say he would hope for some clarity by the time the Rays get to Boston Monday night. Bartlett is getting a scheduled day off, part of Maddon's constant monitoring of him since his DL stint.
DEVELOPING: The Rays are looking for a series win today, and will try to do so without Carl Crawford, who remains sidelined, and Jason Bartlett, who has the day off.
