Rays win 8-6, improve to 15-5

Rafael Soriano throws a pitch during spring trainingThe Rays improved their best-in-baseball record to 15-5 with an 8-6 win over the AL West-leading Rays.

Pat Burrell's three-run homer in the third proved to be the big hit, and the bullpen came up big after an abbreviated and ineffective start by Wade Davis.

The 15-5 mark is the best by an AL East team since the Yankees began the 2003 season 17-3.
