Rays-Yanks resume after 8th inning rain delay

UPDATE, 10:26: The game resumed with LHP Brian Shouse on the mound.

UPDATE, 10:15: The tarp is off and play is scheduled to resume at 10:25.

The Rays-Yankees game has been stopped in the eighth inning due to rain. The Yankees had just rallied to tie to the score 3-3 when Mark Teixeira hit a three-run double off reliver J.P. Howell.

The Rays had led 3-0 behind a strong effort from Andy Sonnanstine, but he and the bullpen couldn't hold it.
