Red Tuesday

* James Shields looked very impressive in two quick innings. The new batting order worked well in the first when Carl Crawford singled, stole second and scored on Delmon Young's 3-2 single.

* Another sloppy defensive inning led to three Cincinnati runs in the sixth inning.

Another beautiful day at Progress Energy Park as the Rays get ready to play the Reds, who didn't bring OF Josh Hamilton for a reunion.

The Rays are again starting their A team, though manager Joe Maddon wanted to "test drive" a new version of the lineup, with LF Carl Crawford hitting second and RF Delmon Young third. Also, 3B Akinori Iwamura makes his third start seeking his first hit.
