Report: Crawford is Angels' top target

According to outfielder Torii Hunter, the Los Angeles Angels will have to out-bid the Boston Red Sox for Carl Crawford, the Los Angeles Times reports.

"The Yankees are not going to go after him,'' Hunter, a close friend of Crawford's, told the LA Times. "They've got Cliff Lee. Boston might be the team. I think Boston and the Angels, that will be the bidding war.''

The Angels reportedly have identified Crawford as their primary target in free agency and are prepared to make him the first $100-million player in club history.
