Scott out of game
UPDATE, 2:59: The Rays say Scott was removed due to tightness in his left hamstring, not shoulder issues, and is day to day.
BREAKING: After getting three hits in his first start for the Rays on Saturday, DH Luke Scott said he wasn't sure how his surgically repaired right shoulder would respond to playing a day game after a night game.
Apparently, not well.
After taking a less than full cut in his first at-bat, Scott was set to be pinch-hit for in the third inning (when the batter ahead of him made the last out) and was taken out in the fourth, when Stephen Vogt stepped into his spot.
Scott made two plate appearances off the bench Friday, then batted four times Saturday, with three hits and a fly out.
