Shields: We're team to beat
Rays pitcher James Shields said despite the late season struggles the Rays are very confident going into the playoffs.
"No matter what happened during the season, we're in the playoffs. We have the best record in the American League, so as far as I'm concerned, we're the team to beat," Shields said. "And I think those other teams in playoffs, they know that."
Shields said he was grateful and excited by the opportunity to start Game 2, and eager to get started. "It"s my time to shine," he said.
